Emily's Legacy Rescue has started a new program!! It is called the Tulip Fund. The Tulip Fund is a program to assist individuals who may need some minor vetting like updated shots, minor surgery, etc. to help keep the animals in their homes so that they do not have to "give" up their pet. This will hopefully keep the animals from going to the shelter or a rescue to take in if they have a foster. We will need funding to assist with the costs. We have been getting messages to help assist and thought this would be a great way that ELR can help.
Who was Tulip? Tulip was my English Pointer that lost her battle with cancer 12/15/17. She was such a wonderful girl who brightened up our home with her wonderful Pointer ways. She was our 3rd adopted baby. It broke my heart into pieces when we had to say our goodbyes. You may have seen her when we did her bucket list. KFDX was wonderful to feature her. I still miss her beautiful face and her "on point." She was once someone's trash that became a treasure to us.
